The Association holds an annual conference which is a not to be missed hospitality event. As well as offering members the opportunity to be updated on relevant issues and gain new ideas on how to run their businesses better, it is also a fun packed three days with social events including the DB Experience, Celebrity Luncheon and Lion Nathan Awards Dinner where members always enjoy networking.
Eating, drinking and politics is the theme of this year’s conference in Auckland on 28 to 30 September 2010. With all the political turmoil, speculation and possible change this year’s conference is a must attend.

The Hospitality Association Conference and Trade Expo is attended by the industry's key opinion formers, business owners and decision makers. The Trade Expo will run along our established and proven format, commencing on Tuesday 28 September:
Tuesday 28 September - Trade show commences with cocktails served amongst the exhibits, as part of the official opening
5.30 pm -7.30pm
Wednesday 29 September - Morning tea and lunch served amongst the exhibits
10:30 am to 2:00 pm
As delegates are eager to participate in the trade show we do not schedule other conference events at this time. We actively encourage participation by serving refreshments amongst the exhibits, running a trade show questionnaire with a prize draw for the winner, and giveaways during the show that are promoted in session.
The Trade Expo will also be promoted in the greater Auckland area to generate interest from within the industry, the public and non exhibiting trade personnel.
