Thames Coromandel Branch AGM 2010 The Thames Coromandel Branch AGM will be held at the Salt Whitianga Marina Hotel, Whitianga on Tuesday 13 July 2010 starting at 1.00pm. This year our guest speaker will be HANZ CEO, Bruce Robertson.
A light lunch will be provided at 12.00pm, followed by the AGM starting at 1.00pm. A maximum of two representatives from each member establishment are invited to attend on a complimentary basis.
Dinner will be scheduled for 6.00pm at the Smitty's Sports Bar and Grill, please note there will be a charge if you wish to attend the dinner.

HANZ Representation at Industry Conferences HANZ Regional Manager, Nadine Mehlhopt attended both the ALAC and New Zealand Hotel Industry conferences held in Auckland this year.
Liquor Policy HANZ Regional Manager, Nadine Mehlhopt met with Malcolm Sandilands (TCDC District Licensing Inspector) to discuss the current TCDC liquor policy. This meeting went well with Malcolm undertaking the responsibility to start the ball rolling with the Council with assurances that all licensees will be given the opportunity to be consulted with on any policy before it is adopted by Council.
Thames Branch Meeting The last Branch meeting was held on 25 May 2010. Thank you to all who attended this – please encourage fellow members in your area to attend future meetings.
Thames Branch Bowls Tournament Thanks to Graeme Blackford (Vice-President) for all his hard work organising another fun day on the greens!
There was a very good turnout to this year’s Bowl’s Tournament – including HANZ Board Members Josh White and Reg Hennessy. Congratulations to tournament winners: Grand Tavern No. 3 team. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a fun day! We hope to see even more members next year!
