Online Booking Technology Launch

Lower commissions and better security for online bookings are on offer as a result of a new partnership announced by Hospitality Association Chief Executive Bruce Robertson. The Association, with In1 Solutions Ltd, has replicated a highly successful model that In1 Solutions established with the Irish Hotels Federation several years ago.

Accommodation providers will be able to:

• Market their property 24/7 to international and domestic travellers
• List their property on 3 separate websites and only have to update one central point
• Drive more visitors to their own website
• Manage their rates and availability in seconds
• Sell rooms, packages and gift vouchers online
• No upfront costs, no ongoing charges, and the lowest commission rate in the market.

Mr Robertson hoped that the "power of three" using a provider’s website, the new HANZ site www.nzaccommodationonline.com and In1 Solutions existing site www.newzealandin1.com would provide a powerful marketing tool and lessen the temptation to sell rooms through websites capitalising on distressed inventory.

Mr Robertson said the industry would welcome this new offering particularly as there are no upfront costs, no ongoing charges, and the lowest commission payable in the market.
