F&B Magazine Secure bookings on-line The Hospitality Association is partnering with In1 Solutions Ltd to provide an alternative to distressed inventory and avoid email scams. Accommodation providers have plenty of opportunities to quit their rooms at discounted prices. What this new partnership between In1 Solutions and the Hospitality Association offer is the ability to make on-line bookings in a secure environment with the property being marketed 24/7 to international and domestic travellers. This on-line booking engine works through accommodation providers’ own websites and manages their rates and availability. The security of the on-line booking facility avoids some of the threats posed by the email scams currently attacking the New Zealand accommodation sector. This new partnership offers accommodation providers with a unique “power of three”. On-line bookings are marketed through the provider’s own website, through a new HANZ accommodation site www.nzaccommodationonline.com (which will go live in August), and through In1 Solutions’ existing website www.newzealandin1.com. What will appeal to the industry with this partnership is that there are no upfront costs, no ongoing charges, and the commission payable is the lowest in the market. The Hospitality Association has been searching for some time to find a way to assist its accommodation members embrace new marketing and booking technology in a cost-effective way and are delighted that an agreement has been reached with In1 Solutions Ltd. In1 Solutions have a proven track record having “cut their teeth” with a similar partnership with the Irish Hotels Federation which is delivering great benefits to their members.
