Gaming Excellence

In an environment where gaming is particularly challenging, it is easy to become overly negative. It was therefore great to see the efforts being made by the National Finalists in this year’s HANZ Excellence in Gaming Award. These National Finalists were:

• Browns Bay Motor Inn, Auckland
• Cock & Bull Botany, Auckland
• Stellar Bank Bar, Wanganui

They demonstrated they are not going to be beaten by the current regulatory environment but are going to survive, focusing on meeting the needs of their customers. They are continuing to provide a venue where people want to be, have a customer service ethos which looks after their customers, makes them comfortable and keeps them safe.

Congratulations to this year’s winner, Cock & Bull Botany Auckland.
